Tour overview
Upon reaching North Stradbroke Island, the initial destination will be Brown Lake, and en route, your guide will discuss the island as well as the historic and cultural significance of the Quandamooka People. Revitalize and recharge in the pristine waters of this stunning lake.
After a brief visit to Myora Springs, you head directly to the Northwest side of the island, an ideal vantage point for photography and a stroll at Cylinder Beach.
Next, the main highlight of the day: The Gorge Walk. During this 40-45 minute stroll, you will take in the stunning sights of the Coral Sea in the South Pacific Ocean and its exceptionally diverse marine life, offering excellent opportunities to see manta rays, turtles, dolphins, and much more.
Next, it’s time to unwind at the beach, so the excursion will proceed to Amity Point. Your guide will lead you on a stroll (hidden location) to look for koalas in nature, and if finding koalas isn’t your preference, you can spend additional time at the beach.
